Dear Taipei,
Just a quick post for now because I have to start my homework (my, what a convenient time to be blogging), but thought I should share this.
Lesson #725 in Chinese: Word order is very important.
In a recent chapter test, I had to rewrite an incorrect sentence to make it grammatically correct using the focus grammar,的 (de) which is used to indicate possession.
Instead of writing “Those two books are my younger brother’s” I wrote that they ARE my brothers.
Such a noob.

I’ll write a proper entry soon, I just came back from a 4 day holiday down south so lots to catch you up on.
