So you want to find a bit more about me, eh?
Well, the short story is that I’m a 29 year old Sydneysider who bought a one way ticket to Taipei.
The longer version is that I moved here two years ago with the objective to learn Mandarin. I didn’t really have a plan, I just wanted to be here to learn the language and discover more about this country that captured my heart after a short trip the year before. It was really quite a spontaneous move, and I can honestly say that it’s a decision that I’m thankful of every day.
I first started Typing To Taipei to catalogue my time here. It started out just a blog for myself… but now with wonderful people like you reading, I try my best to share some interesting insights about all the things that make Taipei wonderful- art, music, history, food and all the things in between.
I hope you enjoy my little musings.
Glad to have you here!
